Sculptra is not a typical filler in the sense that it doesn’t immediately plump or fill the skin. Instead, the poly-L-lactic acid stimulates your body’s own collagen-building process. Over a series of treatments, this results in more natural-looking volume, firmness, and skin texture improvement.
Sculptra Treatment is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure that uses an injectable filler made from poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to gradually restore lost facial volume, stimulate collagen production, and smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, which provide instant volume, Sculptra works over time to improve skin structure by stimulating the body’s natural collagen production.
During the initial consultation, a trained practitioner will evaluate your facial structure and discuss your aesthetic goals. They will decide on the right number of treatment sessions required for optimal results. Sculptra is injected using a fine needle or cannula. A numbing cream or local anesthetic may be applied to make the procedure more comfortable.
Sculptra is an excellent choice for individuals who: Are looking for gradual, natural facial volume restoration, are in their 30s to 50s and are starting to see early signs of aging, such as loss of cheek volume and skin elasticity, prefer a more subtle, long-lasting alternative to other fillers, want to improve overall skin texture, tone, and structure, not just volume.
Sculptra provides a subtle, natural-looking enhancement over time, with results that develop gradually. The results can last up to 2 years or more, making it one of the more durable options for facial rejuvenation. It not only improves volume but also boosts skin quality and texture by stimulating collagen production. Can be used in various areas of the face to address volume loss, deep wrinkles, and skin laxity.
Sculptra is often administered in multiple sessions, typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. The exact number of sessions varies based on individual needs, but most patients require 2 to 3 treatments to achieve optimal results.
Don’t touch or massage the treated area for 24–48 hours to avoid shifting the product. If needed, apply a cold compress to the treated areas to reduce swelling. Massage 5 times per day, for 5 minutes, for 5 days – the 5-5-5 Rule. For the first few days, avoid excessive sun exposure, as it can increase the risk of bruising or irritation.
Current price per vial of Sculptra is $750 (prices may change as the company raises our product cost, website may not reflect most recent price change.) The cost of Sculptra varies depending on several factors, including the location and the number of syringes required. Contact office for pricing.
